Goldstein & Lipski PLLC
Goldstein & Lipski PLLC is a boutique intellectual property law firm focusing on contingent fee patent infringement litigation. We believe that individual inventors and small companies without large litigation budgets should be able to monetize and advance their ideas and intellectual property, just as large companies do, using attorneys who specialize in patent litigation. For that reason, we take cases in which we strongly believe on a full contingency basis. We advance both case expenses as well as our attorneys' and staff's time.
Edward W. Goldstein formed the law firm in 1995 to offer independent inventors and small companies enforcement of their intellectual property rights (e.g. patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets) without sacrificing their own limited financial resources. The firm accomplishes this through its flexible fee arrangements, which include contingency fee patent litigation as well as hourly and/or modified billing options. While a number of the firm's clients prefer to compensate the firm for its services based upon its standard hourly rate, most of our clients hire us on a contingent fee basis - that is, the client does not pay the firm any fee until the firm collects a recovery for the client.
Although it is based in Houston, Texas, GL represents clients worldwide. Because the firm's attorneys have been involved in patent enforcement lawsuits in federal courts from coast to coast, and have collected patent infringement damages for its global clients, the firm's attorneys have earned an international reputation as effective intellectual property litigators and trial counsel, particularly in patent infringement. We litigate cases nationwide, including in popular patent dockets such as the Eastern District of Texas and the Northern District of California, with attorneys licensed in both Texas and California.
In addition to handling patent infringement causes of action and other intellectual property litigation, Goldstein & Lipski provides a full range of intellectual property legal services. Several of our attorneys are licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and we are intimately familiar with common defendant tactics such as reexamination. The technical backgrounds and USPTO admission of several of our attorneys provides a vital edge when litigating against talented opposing counsel. Please contact us to find out how we can begin a mutually beneficial partnership. |
